Installing Oracle GoldenGate
We have talked a lot about the architecture of GoldenGate, but now it’s time to get down to business and actually get ourselves in a position to be able to use the product. This chapter is all about downloading and installing the Oracle GoldenGate product. In Chapter 4 we will talk about the initial configuration of Oracle GoldenGate, in preparation for later chapters where we will actually set up GoldenGate replication in a number of different ways.
