The General Ledger is the final resting place of all financial transactions created within an organization, from within EBS as well as other systems. EBS has predefined flows for creating journal entries from subledgers, such as Payables and Assets, and also allows manual journal entries directly into the General Ledger, or you can use tools such as Application Desktop Integrators (ADIs). APIs, or Application Programmatic Interfaces, allow automated creation of transactions from non-EBS systems, leaving each company with many options on how to create accurate and complete financial systems.
