An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is the backbone of knowledge for any organization, sending and receiving information along its nerves to each corner of the company. As with all living organizations, it will continue to grow, in a fashion that is both controlled and uncontrolled, and will require care and feeding throughout its life cycle.
