All too often, people just start blindly adding new targets and creating new administrators, without any clear plan or any clear guideline on how to manage and maintain all of it.

And then of course, once the managerial questions surface, all hell breaks loose: Reports need to be generated for applications, accounts need to be synchronized and updated for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and administrators need to be re-assigned to other projects or other applications to help out.

Without a clear strategy on how to classify, group, and organize the administrators and the targets in Grid Control, each of these tasks will be a grueling one, taking up quite some time, with a lot of not-so-nice ...
