In Chapter 3, you were shown how to launch Discoverer and log in to your database. In this chapter you will learn about the Workbook Wizard and how to go about creating your first query. We call the first four steps the essential steps, in that these are the basic steps that you need to use in order to produce a working query.
We will teach you a simple workflow that you should follow to build your queries. If you follow this workflow, you will find that this is the quickest way to get a new query up and running.
