This chapter has two distinct topics—adding logic to your report and changing the format of data in report columns. I considered putting this chapter in front of the other function chapters, because it seems that nearly every column formula I write includes one or more of the functions described in this chapter. I ultimately decided that this should be the final chapter on functions because you will rarely use any of these functions entirely on their own.
