In this chapter we begin to explore column formulas. The column formula in its simplest form is an analytical field reference that identifies the column in the database that the report column queries to extract the report data. You can modify these analytical field references to change the data in your report. There are countless reasons why you may want to change the formula that drives the content of a column in a report.
