Kuppuswamy Porsezian, PhD, earned his MSc degree in physics from the University of Madras, Chennai, India, in 1985, and his PhD degree in physics from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, India, in 1991. After working as a research scientist with the SERC, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India Project, in 1993, he joined the Department of Physics, Anna University, Chennai, India as a lecturer. He is currently a professor with the Department of Physics, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India.
