This chapter walks you through the process of moving post offices and domains to new servers (new UNC paths), as well as moving their objects around within your eDirectory tree. This isn’t something that you will do often, but you will not find these procedures documented in such detail in any other place.
Considerations Related to Moving a Domain
When moving domains, you are going to move a domain from one physical UNC location to another. Generally, the move is from one file server to another. This discussion assumes that the domain will be moved from one file server to another. Here is the scenario:
