Abstract:
For the manufacturing of non-crimp fabrics there is a wide range of production technologies. The focus in this chapter is on the production of warp-knitted non-crimp fabrics. The production process of coursewise and non-coursewise biaxial and multiaxial warp-knitted NCF is described in detail and the production of non-crimp fabrics by means of weft knitting with weft insertion and specially adapted weaving processes is explained.
