WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?
There has been some truly innovative work created in recent years using light painting and light writing techniques. From simple fill light used to open up foreground shadows, to the use of lights with colored gels, to drawing or writing with light by pointing a flashlight back toward the camera, there are many exciting ways to work with added light. In this chapter, we’ll explore light painting and light writing with flash, flashlights, and other handheld light sources.
