Santanu Kundu received his BTech degree in instrumentation engineering from Vidyasagar University, Medinipur, West Bengal, India, in 2002. Thereafter, he served in industry for a couple of years as an electronics engineer and returned to academia for pursuing higher studies in 2004. He received his MTech in instrumentation and electronics engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, in 2006.
