3. An Introduction to Internationalization
IN THIS CHAPTER, YOU WILL LEARN THE fundamental implementation of internationalization. The examples are based on a Windows Forms application using Visual Studio 2005 and the .NET Framework 2.0, but very little in this chapter is specific to Windows Forms or to the version of Visual Studio or the .NET Framework. The information in this chapter is equally relevant to ASP.NET applications and to Visual Studio 2003 and the .NET Framework 1.1. For information on Windows Forms, see Chapter 4, “Windows Forms Specifics;” for information on ASP.NET, see Chapter 5, “ASP.NET Specifics.”
