14.24. Data preparation of effluents
Because air and water pollution controls are strictly required by legislation of the country or local regulations, the discharge amount of such pollutants should be confirmed in advance of the public application of a plant. Should such an amount exceed the specified values, appropriate treating facilities should be planned and the approval of the government authorities concerned should be duly obtained in advance. For that purpose, the effluents summary sheet is considered tp be important.
The discharge amounts of all the pollutants that will pollute the environment should be calculated prior to preparation of the effluents.
