Active shield: A defensive system with built-in constraints to limit or prevent its offensive use.
Adhesion: Property of certain dissimilar molecules that cling together due to attractive forces.
Aerobots (aerobotics): Aerial (flying) robots.
Atom: Basic unit of matter consisting of a dense, central nucleus surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons The atomic nucleus contains a mix of positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons.
