Nanotechnologies have incredible potential to enhance daily life across a variety of disciplines. Nanotechnology development is in full gear, and hundreds of products containing nanomaterials have already found their way to the commercial marketplace. Given the rapid pace with which nanotechnology is developing, it is likely that by the time this book reaches the public, an even greater number of products containing nanomaterials will have moved farther along the development pipeline and into the commercial realm.
