Approach to creating music
Music is a technical and creative subject. In order to communicate your ideas efficiently to others, you will either need to learn how to write music using traditional notation or learn how to interpret your ideas using a music technology program. It would also be an advantage to learn how to sing or play an instrument of some kind, so you can directly express your own ideas.
However, other skills you will need to learn are less tangible.You will need to learn how to listen. Hearing music is very different to listening to it.
