Introduction
The Label Distribution Protocol was defined to allow MPLS LSRs to distribute FEC to label bindings in a variety of ways. In this chapter, we examine how this protocol is managed using the IETF MPLS-LDP MIB. In particular, we examine in detail each of the tables and how each fits together into the larger picture of LDP management. We also investigate in detail how the notifications defined therein can be used to detect and manage fault conditions.
