PART IVTHE THREE STAGES OF SUSTAINABLE CHANGE
First, I want to thank you for staying with me so far. Remember, this book is your mental health bible, so keep coming back to it and let's make continued change together.
Second, you've come a long way. Well done! Over parts I to III, you covered a lot of ground exploring the many different aspects of mental health and wellbeing: from sleep to exercise, connections, stillness and food … and everything in between. You explored mental health holistically, read shared personal stories and insights from experts, and learned tasks, tips and tools to take action in your own life.
As a result, you have a great base to start making a real difference in your life. And a strong foundation upon which to build ongoing change to your wellbeing.
But let's not stop there. Let's aim even higher! Now you're ready to take everything you've learned and apply it in three stages. You can have the best information and intentions in the world, but without focus, discipline and daily work, you're unlikely to turn it into long-term progress.
Part IV will help you do just that. It will equip you with long-term systems and habits for applying the learnings from parts I to III. It's the daily work, the continuous improvement and sustained efforts over the long term that will help you move towards your mental health goals. This part will give you daily action plans and steps to maintain continual improvement for life — enabling you to live the very best version ...
