This chapter describes the various subfields of journalism and in particular distinguishes between citizen witness and citizen journalism. It locates mojo within community, education and mainstream media, and identifies how the use of this common digital language is a product of the culture within which it has evolved.
An underlying rationale for this book is to propose a structure for training citizens, students and professional journalists to create digital content using mobile devices.
