In my business, I run into attorneys who dislike change. They use the same antiquated software year after year and may grumble a bit when they must pay some good money to replace an old server—to the tune of $15K to $20K. Perhaps, they “saw the light” when we could not be in our offices due to the pandemic and discovered how difficult it was to log into that server. Maybe, the old-fashioned firms had to pay unexpected expenditures to an IT person to set this up so workers could access the drive and the desktop software.
