Fighting Back Against Spam
If you're inundated with unwanted e-mail, your natural inclination is to fight back. Surely there must be someone to whom you can complain, right?
Yes and no.
Given the free-for-all nature of the Internet, it should come as no surprise that no uniform laws govern unsolicited commercial e-mail. Depending on where you live, you might be able to file a lawsuit against the sender and even have a reasonable chance of succeeding—if you can identify the sender, that is.
