Third-Party Spam-Busting Solutions
If the message-filtering capabilities of your favorite e-mail software seem too cumbersome, consider using third-party software to do the dirty work. Literally dozens of spam-fighting utilities and services are available for Windows users to choose from. Look first at other security programs you might already own. Some antivirus developers have added spam-blocking features to their packages in recent years. Trend Micro, for instance, includes robust spam blocking with its full-featured PC-cillin product, and both Symantec and McAfee offer security suites that include spam-blockers.
