The Media Library
Unlike any simple player application, Media Player can store and organize your media. The Media Library (see Figure 29.6) will store detailed information about your CDs, including cover art and in some cases even lyrics, and sort them into folders. When you place a CD in a drive on your computer or tell Media Player to search your directories for media files, the information on what they are and where they are stored is immediately entered into a large database.
