Specializing Answer Files
The following sections are templates for specialized settings you can add to your own answer files. All of these settings are from the file sample.sif in the Samples\chap06 folder on this book’s companion CD. I split them out in this section to better explain the purposes of different settings. The sections are the following:
Custom Files. Copy custom files to each target computer.
User Settings. Configure users’ names, organizations, and so on.
Device Drivers. Include third-party device drivers with Windows XP Professional.
Local Password. Configure the local Administrator password.
Join Domain. Join each target computer to the domain.
AutoLogon. Automatically log on to the target computer.
