OpsMgr Design Considerations
To be able to design an Operations Manager 2012 architecture, it is necessary to have a working understanding of not just the components of the architectures but also important design constraints. These include how Operations Manager handles data, how to connect management groups, and how Operations Manager behaves over the wide area network (WAN). One of the most critical design points is ensuring that the database components can handle the large volume of data, which is constrained by the disk subsystem and the version of SQL Server deployed.
