- action
An interactive feature that is used to access information located in another place, whether in a separate section of the same report, in a completely different report, or in a Web page on an intranet or external Web site.
- ad hoc reporting
Reviewing, and possibly sharing, limited information with limited formatting requirements on an as-needed basis.
- cached instance
A temporary version of a report stored in the ReportServerTempDB to be used for rendering in response to multiple requests.
- calculated field
An expression added to a dataset that can be used in a data region as if it were part of the original dataset.
