The good news is that overall, the management of tables and their related columns has remained relatively unchanged in SQL Server 2014. You will find that the facilities available in the SQL Server Management Studio are as familiar and as easy to use as they were in SQL Server 2012. However, SQL Server 2014 does introduce the new concept of memory optimized tables as part of the new In-Memory OLTP features.
