Backing Up and Restoring Databases
The backup and restore scenarios for SQL Database are fairly simple when compared with standard SQL Server methodologies. There are two primary approaches to creating a reliable system: The first makes use of the database copies you learned how to create in the previous section. The second relies on data-tier application features found in SSMS. We’ll examine the database-copy approach first.
