Reusable Workflows and Content Types
Reusable workflows or content type-based workflows are a long awaited addition to the workflow toolkit in SharePoint Designer. Users can now create workflows and publish them to their sites and then activate them on any list in the site. As the name suggests, you can easily reuse these workflows anywhere in SharePoint. Later in this chapter you see that you are able to save these workflows and deploy them as sandbox solutions to other SharePoint environments so that, for instance, you are able to move SharePoint Designer workflows from development and test environments before pushing them onto your production sites.
