SQL Databases

SQL databases are the easiest of the three data sources to connect to. Using SharePoint Designer you can quickly connect to a database and access all the existing tables, views, and routines. Although in SharePoint Designer you see it always labeled as SQL data source, you can use many different databases. These could include Oracle, MySQL, or anything that provides ODBC connectivity.
