Creating a Linked Data Source
Using linked data sources, you can combine the contents of one or more related data sources into a single view and then configure queries, filters, and sorting on the combined data. In linking data sources, you have two options:
• Merge: Combine lists or database tables to create one large list or table where there is no unique key or common field. For example, where two separate tables represent two separate organization departments such as Sales and Engineering. Each table has an employee number but there is no relationship between the Sales employee number and the Engineering employee number. The Linked Data Source configurator does not include the option to modify queries where tables are merged.
