Tools for Extending the Workflow Model
In a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 context, there are two development tools available for using and extending the workflow model. These are the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Designer for Windows Workflow Foundation and Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007. Visual Studio 2005 Designer for Windows Workflow Foundation is a Visual Studio add-in; SharePoint Designer 2007 is a stand-alone application that is a successor of Microsoft FrontPage 2003.
