Chapter 24. Tasks
You use the Tasks section of Entourage to track two kinds of items:
Tasks. A task is an event or process, such as washing the car, painting the porch, or writing a budget proposal, that you either need to complete by a certain date or at some undetermined future time. Like Calendar events, some tasks are repeating. For example, a rent or mortgage payment could be scheduled at regular intervals.
To do items. A to do item is either an email message or a contact record that you’ve marked with a To Do flag—signifying that you want to follow up at some future time. Like tasks, a to do item can have a proposed completion date.
