POP3/IMAP4 Considerations
There are a few things you should keep in mind when it comes to administering POP3 and IMAP4 on your Exchange Server 2007 server. First, if you test connections from a client to your server, bear in mind that you can’t log in to an Exchange Server 2007 POP3/IMAP server using the built-in administrator account.
