Replacing Laptops with Mobile Pocket Devices

Many users in organizations have a laptop computer for the sole purpose of checking emails, contacts, and calendars; however, they find it time-consuming to turn on the computer, wait for it to boot up, and then launch Outlook to finally check their calendar. Although a laptop is relatively easy to set up and provides full mobile access to information, laptops are rarely connected on a full-time basis. Users still need to plug in to a phone line to dial up and synchronize their system, or find a high-speed Ethernet or wireless LAN connection to link to their network.
