Key to the Excel screen

  1. Menu bar

    The menu bar appears at the top of the screen and offers access to Excel's commands.

  2. Standard toolbar

    The Standard toolbar offers buttons for many basic Excel commands. This toolbar is similar in other Microsoft Office X applications.

  3. Formula bar

    The formula bar displays the contents of the active cell and that cell's address or reference.

  4. Formatting Palette

    The Formatting Palette offers buttons and menus for formatting document contents.

  5. Worksheet window

    The worksheet window is where you'll do most of your work with Excel. This window has columns and rows which intersect at cells. ...
