Overview

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a desktop-as-a-service that is built to run at scale in Microsoft Azure. It is a virtualization service for both desktops and applications that combines and leverages different Azure services for compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoring, to deliver a complete solution.
