Doing SPSA:Some Reflective Experience
INTRODUCTION
In this chapter, we want to explore how the systemic and prospective sustainability analysis (SPSA) process played out in practice. To make the navigation of the stages fit with the original plan for the use of SPSA as already described in Chapter 3, and in light of the practicalities of the experience on the ground, we have set out each of the 12 stages in terms of where it fits within the original 12-point learning cycle set out in Figure 3.5, and also within the five substantive reports produced during the project's two-year process.
