1. A. PPP is a dial-up protocol that is supported by Windows Server 2008 and enables you to set up dial-up connections for users as described here. Remember that SLIP is an older protocol that is no longer supported in either edition of Windows Server 2008. PPTP, L2TP, and IKEv2 are VPN networking protocols that do not support dial-up connections.
2. B. All of PPTP, SSTP, and IKEv2 provide data encryption on their own. L2TP does not; you must use IPSec with L2TP to provide encryption of data sent across a remote access connection.
