Vasudevan Lakshminarayanan is currently a full professor of optometry (vision science), physics, and electrical and computer engineering at the University of Waterloo. He is also an associate of the Michigan Center for Theoretical Physics at Ann Arbor and a member of the Center for Bioengineering and Biotechnology at Waterloo. He has held research/teaching positions at the University of California at Berkeley and Irvine campuses as well as at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
