It might happen that users filter a dashboard thats been uploaded to Tableau Server or click on some values that will lead to a change of the view. The user can save those views by clicking on the View button (again in the upper-right corner of Tableau Server):
The following window will open up; name the view and save it! You can easily go back to the original view by clicking on the View button:
