Much of this chapter is about the detail of the outsourcing project and its risks. Having said that, so many of the elements apply to suppliers generally, whether a single supplier or a supply chain. Whether its outsourcing or any supplier arrangement, you cannot abdicate your responsibility to your customers or your reputation. The best mitigant of that, is to make sure that you have a genuine partnership with your third party.
