SUMMARY
So many of the chapters of this book feed in to the management of survival and recovery. The important point is that we are trying to get the business back to some type of normality, both the business itself, its customers and its third parties. The key is about time. That is the critical impact. To do that you need to know how you do things, what is critical for the business and be clear of your strategy and plan. The crisis won’t be as you expect, but if you have a plan to start with, you have a chance of getting to recovery in reasonable time.
To achieve that, you must:
Test, test, test
Communicate, communicate, communicate
Document, document, document
and
Keep it simple.
