The V-model

The V-model shows the phase transitions within software development, which offers the possibility of QA. For every phase transition, the developers and the customer make quality agreements about, for example, the designs. The V shape illustrates that at the bottom of the shape, after real implementation, there will be an ever-growing understanding of the problem that is being solved, and that initial ideas and requirements are tested against reality.
