Configuration Testing

For successful configuration testing, we need to know in what order to assemble individual software systems into integrated working configurations to test. So there will not be too many problems to diagnose, we pick enough systems to ensure adequate functionality. We add more systems until we have confidence in the overall system.

Building configuration tests this way can be time consuming and difficult. We might choose testing strategies that are easy to carry out but might be insufficient to ensure fully competent testing.
