SENNELIER CHINESE ORANGE

Chinese Orange

Sennelier’s Chinese orange is a subtle mixture of three organic pigments: azo yellow (PY150), quinacridone red (PR206), and azo brown (PBr23).

USING YOUR PALETTE

First, you need to create a bright orange by combining equal parts of saffron yellow (PY110) and scarlet red (PR255). Then, add a hint of dark brown (either Van Dyke brown or sepia) or else Isaro rose (PR122). The brown will break up the brightness of the mixture, while the rose will break it up but in a less forceful way.
