Blue PB15:3
Phtalo Blue
Synthetic organic pigment from the copper phthalocyanine family.
Known mostly as phtalo blue, this color exists in two different shades, one tending toward red and the other toward green.
The copper phthalocyanine blues are identified under the nomenclature of PB15, which exists in six varieties, ranging from PB15:1 to PB15:6. Each shade is slightly different. We have chosen PB15:3, the greenest of the copper phthalocyanine blues.
This blue is like all the phthalocyanines: magnificently transparent, with remarkable coloring power, and with excellent light resistance. It is not granular.
