2Bill Hinchberger is a freelance journalist and educator. He studied at Berkeley and has taught at the Sorbonne. He runs training programs for professional journalists in Africa and is the Paris correspondent for Global Finance magazine. He previously served as an international correspondent for The Financial Times, Business Week, ARTnews, Variety and other media. His work has also appeared in publications such as Architectural Record, National Wildlife, Science and The Lancet. Assignments have taken him to over 50 countries including Brazil, where he lived for over two decades. He wrote National Geographic’s travel guidebook to that country.
