Chapter 11 Presentations and Exploded Views
Standard 2D drawings don’t always communicate your 3D design information as clearly as you intend. A different way to present your design is an exploded view. You can see an example of this in Figure 11.1.
An exploded view describes an assembly by moving components out of their assembled position. Exploded views are not available in the Autodesk® Inventor LT™ program.
Exploded views can use trails to show how the components have been moved from their assembled position to their exploded position. These moves are called tweaks.
